What is Art Therapy?

Art Therapy is a psychotherapy practice provided by a master’s level trained Art Therapy Clinician. The practice often uses a variety of mediums such as drawings, paintings, sculptures, and crafts to facilitate self-introspection and self-discovery. Previous artistic experience isn't required in order to participate since the art process is a literal visual representation of one's journey from beginning to an end product. Therapy sessions are "tailor made" for the participant engaged in the therapy session.
